Our Choir sings in many languages for freedom, equality and the cultural-esthetic support of the struggles from the radical-left. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are an open choir in Berlin. Feel free to come to our current events<\/a><\/strong> and sing along.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the moment we have to figure out how to deal with the growth of the choir. If you like to sing with us please write. We have Newcomer rehearsals to join us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We sing at demonstrations, leftist initiatives and protests and we invite to self organized solidarity-events and public rehearsals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our core<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Widerklang choir supports grassroot leftist struggles and actions. This includes anarchist, communist, FLINTA*\/feminist, ecological, anti-racist, anti-fascist and de-colonial movements. It is important to us that the values of freedom and equality are pursued and that the resistance is directed against capitalist, imperialist and patriarchal exploitation and oppression. With our songs we remember struggles, people and stories from the past. With our music we want to empower diverse groups of the radical left in Berlin and strengthen movements from the present. We want to raise the feeling of belonging while singing together. We want a resistance grassroot culture with music, enthusiasm and joy! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accessibility<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We try to find different spaces for our rehearsals. The most popular place has two steps. The toilet is not accessible. The next public toilet is about one or two hundred meters down the road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meistens reden wir w\u00e4hrend unserer Proben Englisch, weil das die meisten verstehen. Wir singen aber ohnehin auf vielen Sprachen, die die meisten dann nat\u00fcrlich nicht verstehen. F\u00fcr alles, was nicht verstanden wird versuchen wir \u00dcbersetzer:innen zu finden. Normalerweise funktioniert das gut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Covid: Wir bitten alle sich vor den Proben zu testen. Zum singen tragen wir (30\u201340 Leute) keine Maske und es ist meistens eng. Da ist es nicht m\u00f6glich Abstand zu halten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
